Raising Awareness

Proposal

Develop a content calendar for the week of April 8th to help raise funds for CCCC.

National Cancer Control Month

April is National Cancer Control Month. Given the proposal, it is vital to implement this into the content for the month of April.

Schedule

Monday, April 8th:

Announce #weekofgiving. “In honor of National Cancer Control Month, Children’s Cancer Caring Center is looking to raise funds to help our fight against children’s cancer through #weekofgiving. Help us spread #weekofgiving by posting it on your page and asking your family and friends to follow us. For more information on donating, please click here”

Tuesday, April 9th:

Facebook Live Q&A with Founder, Chairmen & CEO LEE KLEIN & Other Staff. During this Live Q&A, Ms. Klein will share #weekofgiving as well as answer any questions relating CCCC from the commenters. This is an opportunity for those who follow CCCC to connect with the Center.

Wednesday, April 10th:

Thank you post. CCCC would like to dedicate this day and say thanks to all the nurses and support staff that help our young fighters throughout their daily battles. Without you and our donors, none of this would be possible! To see how you can help click here. #weekofgiving. *Posts uses photos of staff, either at work, having fun, or being themselves. This helps build off of the idea of putting a face to CCCC*

Thursday, April 11th:

Today’s a very special day for our young fighters! This #throwbackthursday movie night we are showing some of the most beloved Disney classic movies that many of us deeply cherish. Comment below which movie is your favorite! #weekofgiving

Friday, April 12th:

Who doesn’t like puppies! A big thank you for this local group for visiting our young fighters with their therapy dogs. Every child loved being able to play and cuddle with these adorable puppies. #weekofgiving

At 5pm: We are nearing the end of #weekofgiving, where CCCC is raising funds to directly help our efforts in fighting pediatric cancers. Although we are close to our goal of xx,xxx, we still need help! Your contributions are what help us give the care every one of our young fighters needs. To find out more, visit here.

Throughout the week:

Displaying a live donation counter, with a progress bar would be a good way to help motivate viewers to reach the end goal.

Reasoning

The most important aspect of this week’s content is #weekofgiving. The reason Monday starts off with this post is to build awareness and set forth the motion of collecting more donations. Viewers are constantly reminded through the use of the hashtag regardless of what the post may be about. The live Q&A is the ability for viewers to connect with the page. Wednesday is an approach to ensure that staff at CCCC feel appreciated and viewers witness this appreciation. This helps portray CCCC as a positive and promotive environment. Thursday’s posts allows the page to build a strong connection with its viewers through childhood memories. Finally, Friday build’s off of Monday’s announcement post in order to give one final effort to collect more funds.
